Mods to R/C and Compartment. Winch loads calculated for all sails.

Redesigned the compartment as I was concerned that the reciever was in the wrong position and will get wet. The R/C layout is causing glitching so another mod.
Going to build a filter to insert into the servo lead. I taught electronics a few years ago and my roof is full of components. Calculated winch loads ready for Jolie Brise II, 4 sails to control!
My wife laughed when she saw the bright blue transportation trolley.

Making the Mast

The Main Mast has a 4mm taper over 560 length. I built a lathe from an electric drill. I worked after a
fashion but the pine grain tore out when using a chisel. The answer was to rough plane to shape then
file and sand down to size. The mast fittings have been added. I glued a 3 x 0.2mm copper band around the Mast Cap and Top
to add strength soldering on eyes for the stays.

Hull taking shape.

After much scratching of heads, the hull is progressing.
The plans have to be treated as general measurements and cannot be treated as accurate or complete.
The Frame drawings cannot be used without major mods and now that I have started planking the hull, I still did not get them correct. Plenty of Plastic Padding will sort that out.
Unfortunately I only ordered enough planks for one side. I will progress other areas, before I order more. Looking at the pictures on the Jolie Brise site has given me ideas on how to attach the Bowsprit Shrouds to the hull, more components needed.
